becomes an On-Line Event as set out below.

unchanged i.e. Friday 17th April 2020, and Sunday 19th April 2020 respectively.
3. The Judging of entries will now be done remotely on-line.
4. The event and the results will be videoed and the video made available to competing clubs not later
that 16th May. We are unsure of making the April 25th deadline in the current circumstances.
5. All the other details of the competition remain as they are.
6. Individual results will be e-mailed to each Club and Global results will also be published on the SACC
Website while links to the Competition Video will be sent to each participating Club.
7. The SACC AGM has been deferred to a later date to be advised in due course.
8. It is hoped that all Clubs will appreciate that we have no choice but to amend the format of the
competition in the present circumstances. The SACC Committee feel however that it is better that the
event proceeds in the revised format rather than postpone the event to the autumn or beyond.
9. All Clubs can participate in the competition in its revised format without breaching any of the current
Government restrictions which we all understand and appreciate.
10. We look forward to a bumper entry in both the CUP and the SHIELD and wold encourage every Club to
Stay Safe,

The 50 Francis Street Photographer

This coming Thursday 12th March at 8:00pm, Kilkenny Photographic Society member Suzanne Behan will be presenting the work of her Grandfather John Walsh. John was a Dublin Photographer and had a studio and shop on 50 Francis Street in the liberties area of Dublin a few doors down from St.Nicholas of Myra Church, He was married to Suey Guy who ran the Myra Dairy Shop at the same premises. He was most active as a working photographer in the 1950’s thru to 90’s, and over his lifetime he took many photos of the people around the liberties and Dublin City areas including schools, weddings and family events. When he passed away he left thousands of negatives and photos which Suzanne Behan is now trying to share with the people in the images,

A night not to be missed.
