Our first visiting photographer of the season is none other than Des Clinton FIPF, FRPS, MFIAP. Des is a founder member of Drogheda PS and has been active in Irish Photography for well over thirty years now. He continues to be an active and committed photographer especially in the genres of social documentary and nature photography.
In 2011, Des was awarded the Fenton Medal and Honorary Life Membership of the RPS for his services to Photography. Indeed Des can be found with his camera from the Muff Horse Fair to an Orange Parade in Belfast on July 12th. He is currently Chair of Distinctions in the IPF and is a Fellowship Assessor at the RPS.
