IPF National Shield

Planning is well advanced for the 2016 IPF National Shield competition! The venue will be the Clarion Hotel Lapps Quay on November 12th. Following a record entry for the last two years, we are hoping to have even more clubs entering this year! Full details on entering the competition are on the IPF website now.

The Shield is a club competition specifically designed to showcase the work of the non-advanced members of our member clubs. The definition non-advanced along with lots of information about this competition can be found over on our website.

We have three excellent judges coming over to assist us;

• Linda Wevill FRPS
• Jane Lines MPAGB BPE5* LRPS
In addition, we have two super speakers – Eithne Ni Anluain and Ross McKelvey MPAGB FIPF EFIAP/S FBPE. To help us manage costs, there is a very nominal charge of just €2 per person per lecture.

In terms of times and deadlines, we want to keep this as simple as possible for everyone. Please confirm your club is taking part as soon as possible and provide payment by Paypal by 23rd October at the latest, two weeks ahead of the Shield itself 12th November. To do this, please go to this page on our website to register and pay. Completed entry forms and images must be received by October 30th. The entry fee is €75 whether you are entering one or two panels.

If anyone has any queries now, please contact Joe Doyle, the IPF National Shield Coordinator via the email account for the National Shield – shield@irishphoto.ie or via the contact page on our website.

Schedule will be published closer to competition date.
