• Congratulations to club member Eugene Canning LIPF on his success at the recent distinctions sittings in Portlaoise. We look forward to seeing Eugene’s successful panel in the near future.
  • We had another successful and very instructive studio lighting session in the club on Thursday, 9th March. Thanks to Derville, Ned and Mark for all their work in setting up the studio and for their help and guidance during the night. We were fortunate to have a good number of models on the night and thanks to all those who volunteered and patiently posed during the evening. Special thanks to Derville’s nephew,  Ultan Conroy, for being so accommodating on the night.
  • The Monthly Competition theme for MARCH is ARCHITECTURE. It’s a projected competition and entries ( max of 2 per member) should be uploaded to Picturk by 6th April. We will have the judging of the MACRO competition in the club on Thursday, 30th March.
  • This Thursday, 16th March, we will have a discussion about the use of NIK filters with a view to conducting a workshop on their use sometime in the near future. Club chairman, John Hughes, and Ian Doolan will recreate an interview given by Ansel Adams on his 81st birthday.
