Walking Tour of Kilkenny’s Volunteer and Military Heritage:

This tour will assist in understanding the events attended by many of those national figures who visited Kilkenny during the build up to the Rising and the aftermath – personalities such as Casement, MacNeill, MacDonagh, Redmond, Cathal Brugha, W.T. Cosgrave, DeValera – all held meetings in Kilkenny, and the landmark buildings still survive – City Hall, Market Yard, Kyteler’s Inn, etc. The walks are held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 3pm. Meet at the Tholsel, High Street.
