Our meeting of 18th January was full to capacity for the judging of the “COLOUR – You Pick One” print competition. There were over 70 prints entered for the competition covering the three categories of Novice, Intermediate and Advanced. The judge on the night was  Emmanuelle Galisson who is chairperson of Portlaoise Camera Club. This was not her first time to judge for KPS and she was again full of praise for the quality of the images on display.

Emmanuelle gave a detailed critique of each entry giving generous praise to the photographers for their work and some very useful tips for suggested improvements. She praised the quality of the printing and the selection of papers used by the photographers. She had the unenviable task of picking the winners as the competition was very stiff indeed.
