The editors over at slrlounge.com have put up a post aimed at tourists coming to Ireland with a view to doing some photography. Apparently the Irish Tourist Board just launched the Wild Atlantic Way (WAW) which is a west of Ireland drive of over 2,500Km. I know that many of you have toured and photographed the west coast over the years but for those who haven’t seen it all yet the post gives a brief introduction to some of the awesome scenery within a relatively short drive. It might whet the photography appetite for a trip west!
As we’re all tourist of sorts once we travel outside our own county, well province anyway, I thought I let you know about it. Imaging all that wonderful scenery and no airport or security checks involved!
Here’s the link to the post on slrlounge.com. It includes some great images by Carsten Krieger
There’s a further article about the launch of the WAW by the Irish Tourist Board on broadhavebay.com
These’s also a business oriented article on the Failte Ireland website.
