6th April – Brian Whelan, of Bermingham Cameras, will be in attendance at our weekly meeting with a range of photographic equipment that members can view and get up to date information of new releases etc. If you would like him to include any particular piece of equipment please contact Andy Magan. This is also the closing date for the March competition – Architecture – which is a projected competition. Entries should be uploaded to Picturk (problematic at the moment) or handed in on an USB key on the night.

9th AprilThe SACC Interclub Competition will be held in the Loreto Secondary School on the Granges Road, Kilkenny. The event starts with the hanging of panels at 09.00, judging of prints at 10.00, judging of projected at 12.00. The results will be announced at 14.00. The panels are open for public viewing from 13.00 – 14.00.

Dominic has been passionate about photography for many years now.
My love of the outdoors and nature gives me great inspiration and material to photograph. I am based in Co. Laois, and am primarily a landscape and wildlife photographer, but I love all aspects of photography, and like also to photograph people, cities, and events.

27th April – TY Photography Competition Awards Night – Springhill Hotel starting at 7.30pm.
