10 winning entries will be selected to go forward to the international finals.
This years competition will run during September 2015, but images may be taken at any time:
Some of the rules are (full listing of Rules – currently these reference the 2014 contest):

- The subject of the photo must be one of the monuments listed on this site (Wiki Loves Monuments – Rules).
Visit the Wiki Loves Monuments home page for further details.
A full listing of National Monuments, by county, are available on the Wiki website.
Interesting, for those of us who get “tribal” about such things, our local counties have the following number of National monuments:
- Kilkenny – 21
- Tipperary – 22
- Waterford – 7
- Wexford – 10
- Carlow – 7
- Laois – 6
Given these numbers the South-East was poorly represented among the 2014 Irish Final Winners – lets make an effort to correct that this year! However, your not confined to local monuments, you can choose for the full list.
As you don’t have to submit your entries until Sept next you should have lots of time to capture images of your favorite National Monuments – you may already have something in your archive!
